My Role on the SU:

I look after the SU accounts along with Jan, the SU Finance Officer. I ensure that the clubs and societies get an equal share of money from the yearly social charge, help to look after their accounts and maintain contact with all club treasurers.

On a Wednesday night I will be at the door checking your Social Surcharge Payments (details on your cards), and at other times you'll find me in the SU fianance office with Jan.

What do you aim to achieve in your position?

Big sponsorship drives to give SU members more free stuff, more privileges and better value for money; constantly improving the method of collecting the social surcharge; ensuring that all the clubs and societies are getting the best deal; targeting grant and award schemes to bring more money into the SU; improving the transparency of the Treasury.
