My Role on the SU:

As the Publicity Officer, it's my responsibility to ensure that the weekly social events that take place are advertised - through posters, email and by voice. I also Liaise with Harper's Publicity and Press Officer to act as a representative for the students and the SU.

I attend various meetings, both with the SU executives and with Harper Personnel as well.

Bar promotions and social events are the main events which I advertise, but the social scene changes weekly and there is always something different to promote. Communications within the College can sometimes be quite poor and I intend to try and change that!

What do I wish to achieve during my year in power?

I intend too...

• Have more informed placement letters
• A magazine to go with the Harper Alumni
• Feedback from studetns regarding publicity and how to improve it; ongoing
• Promise to take down posters when putting up new ones: keeping your campus neat and tidy.
