 A bit from the Pres...

Hello! Welcome to the Harper Adams Student Union Website, I hope you find these pages useful in finding what you want to know. Well, my job is great! I get paid to socialise, drink beer and have a good laugh... or so you think!

But it's not all about the socialising; a lot of planning, meetings, time and thought goes into trying to create the best possible experience for the Harper Students. From weekly Student Union meetings, governers meetings, academic meetings - I represent every student at Harper in all areas of the College. And where I don't represent you is where the rest of the Student's Union Executive come in. I can't do everything!

The SU Executive ensures that each area of the Social life of Students is covered. From the Sports Secretary, Publicity Officer, Raising money for charity (RAG), the Academic Rep, Bar Management, Entertainments Management, Technical Management... the list goes on, the SU make sure it's covered. If you think it isn't let me know.

Everything needs a dedicated person to ensure everything gets done. Without these dedicated people, Harper would be a very different place. So what else do you want to know? Feel free to drop me a line on 01952 815356, or email me at 00670980@harper-adams.ac.uk.

Kind Regards,

Helen Plant

SU President 2008/09
