My Role on the SU:

Hi, I'm the one who's responsible for organising your wicked social calendar for each term. I book the bands, look after them, introduce them and keep you entertained all term long. This includes wednesday night bands, comedy acts and other acts on various nights, for instance The Wurzels!

What do you aim to achieve in your position?

Well, I would like to see more well known acts at Harper, as well as better weekend entertainment for all those who are on campus and who are living in Newport; keeping Harper buzzing at the weekend. Although the social calendar is very good, I hope to improve upon it in any way possible, whether it be the bands we book, or the structure of the social calendar.

I would like to see a greater variety of both music and bands, keeping Wednesday nights different and entertaining.

I also intend to fully interact with all the bands and DJs as well as introducing them on stage.
