SU Position: Academic Representative
Course: BSc (HONS) Rural Enterprise & Land Management

My Role on the SU:

My role on the SU maintains a positive link between the SU and the academic side of the University. I attend the Academic Board Meetings, as well as the IT User Group meetings along with the SU Website Officer.

Both of these meetings are attended on your behalf, for your benefit. This allows better communication between the various boards and the students.

What do you aim to achieve in your position?

Maintaining a positive link between staff and students is essential, and helps to keep the academic side of student life flowing as smoothly as possible. Apart from being an active member of the SU, I intend to try and reduce the issues that exist between the academic side of University and the students.

I intend to listen to the students and to be at all meetings.
